Chattanooga/Southeast Tennessee Case Study
This case study explores how the Chattanooga/Southeast Tennessee CoC strengthened the completeness of its by-name dataset by expanding provider participation in their homeless response system. Through creative approaches to data collection, stronger partnerships with traditional and non-traditional partners, intentional engagement, and ongoing documentation of their processes, this community built a more comprehensive and equitable understanding of homelessness. This study is particularly relevant for communities seeking to improve their by-name dataset by increasing provider engagement, strengthening collaboration, and developing flexible strategies that meet partners where they are.
