Setting Up a Coordinated Prevention Pilot

In this session, we will focus on developing an actionable plan to pilot one or more Core Elements of a Coordinated Prevention System. This includes a variety of key strategies such as:

We’ll also hear from some of our community members who are currently piloting a coordinated prevention system, allowing us to learn from their experiences and best practices

• Developing partnerships in neighborhoods with higher housing insecurity
• Testing housing-focused screening and partner referral approaches
• Offering training to select partners on Housing Problem-Solving
• Incorporating flexible financial assistance into targeted prevention/diversion programs
• Testing processes for prioritizing timely access to existing community resources for households at high risk of literal homelessness
