Bulk Population Reporting Form

November 22, 2023

The Bulk Population Reporting Form can be used to submit your monthly population data to Built for Zero. We encourage you to share your data on a monthly basis through the regular Population Reporting Form so that your Performance Management Tracker stays up to date and your community has real-time, actionable data. However, if your community has fallen behind on sharing data with Built for Zero, you can use this tool to provide a bulk submission, sharing multiple months of data at once!

How to use this tool:

Start by downloading the submission template provided below. We recommend using the Excel template, since it has built-in data validation to help ensure your data gets submitted without a hitch.

BFZPopulationFormTemplate.xlsx

Excel version (recommended)

The template requests the following fields:

FieldAccepted Values

MONTHDates should be formatted as follows, using the first day of the month: YYYY-MM-01

Note that this field should only be filled out for the FAMILIES population.

Fill in the template with your data – you can put multiple populations and multiple months of data all in the same sheet or organize them into separate sheets. Once you click “Submit,” the tool will validate the data. You can then review your data and submit it. If you have any questions, please reach out to bfzdatasupport@community.solutions.

Troubleshooting tips:

  • Please keep the column headers the same so the tool can identify each metric.
  • If the tool is stuck loading for a long time when you are uploading a file, try deleting all empty rows and columns. The extra rows and columns may still appear to be present in the file, but at least the values in those cells will be cleared. This helps to reduce the size of the file that needs to be processed.
